I believe Mr. Dent remastered XTC's incredible Skylarking LP for the vinyl reissue, AND he identified the album's polarity problem. For that alone he deserves an award!

I dont know about any the other crap but the whole vinyl mastering thing is real and what he says about the resolution is VERY TRUE. You all are probably mad that you dont have the credibility that John Dent has and definitely do not have the amount of experience that he has when it comes to analog mastering. Stop hating.

La prochaine fois enlevez les rideaux et préparez une bassine ainsi que des serviettes de bonne taille pour arrêter un départ d'incendie. En effet les vitres peuvent éclater sous l'effet de la chaleur et les rideaux peuvent prendre feu.

merci stitcheuh. j'ai posé ma main sur les fenêtres plusieurs fois pour prendre la température. Je ne craignais rien. Les pompiers ont aussi été très rapides, ce qui est important à signaler.

courageux d'avoir pris la caméra pr filmer ;-) moi me serais éloignée de cette fenêtre de peur que sous le coup de la chaleur, elles explosent !

Oui, apparemment il y en a eu plusieurs... C'est ce que je lis. Tout ce que je peux dire c'est qu'il y a eu un bruit d'explosion et les flammes sont montés comme sur la vidéo en une ou deux minutes à peine. Ça brule très vite un scooter !! Ca m'a fait peur parce que tout se dégradait très vite... Les pompiers sont arrivés à temps. J'ai aussi fait une série photographique sur les cadavres des scooters en bas de chez moi. Si vous voulez jeter un oeil, le lien est dans la description de la vidéo.

Au total ce sont 17 scooter qui ont brûlés. Dans le 17ème, il y a une voiture et un scooter qui ont subi la même chose. Vous avez sans doute eu peur ? J'ai lu dans le Parisien, que c'était une bande de jeune de la rue Miron qui était dans le coup.

I facepalmed so hard, it's not even funny. I actually said "Holy shit" as I was watching. This guy clearly has something against digital. And of course, he has so much old analog gear, so it's his business to delude himself and others into believing that his product is markedly superior. Look up "Audio Myths Workshop" here on UA-cam, as there are lots of vital informational nuggets in there. And, for Christ's sake, look up the Nyquist-Shannon Sampling Theorem.

Ok actually this maybe a bit radical, like I think there's some good in analog AND digital. Of course Digital is more accurate than that, but also still DON'T SOUD AT ALL LIKE ANALOG, especially High END analog gear (like those Manley and Crane song gear you can see on this video). But he is as wrong as saying we can only hear from 20 hz to 20 khz. It's not about physics but about tools qualities, I can assure you that doing Mastering myself as a professionnal :)
